Description

To fulfill its recommendations, the CDO will conduct research on data governance, sharing, and analytics across the Commonwealth.

A particular research focus will be to determine the impact that proposed Data Governance Framework may have on agency operations. The research will be both internal to the Commonwealth of Virginia and External to other states within the United States of America.

The results of this research should be used to inform the Commonwealth’s permanent Data Governance Framework.
